Hello Students!

We wanted to let you know about our holiday concert we’re having.

This will be our 1st annual holiday event. It’s guaranteed to be a great time for all!

We are also coordinating the launch of a brand new “Be Sharp Music & Entertainment” website. We are very excited about that! It should be up & running in time for the concert.

We will be taking pictures & encourage you to do the same.

We would love to get some of the photos and/or videos of the concert up on the website. (with your permission of course).

Feel free to invite friends & family. Especially those with children possible interested in music lessons. Some people are bringing holiday snacks. Your welcome to do the same if you would like.

The concert is Sunday, December 15th at 2:30pm. At the Paper moon puppet theater.

171 1st Avenue   (on West Garfield)

Atlantic Highlands, NJ‎ 07716

Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Thank you & happy holidays!,

Follow this simple procedure to keep your clarinet sounding the best:

  1. Remove your mouthoiece from the case
  2. Fill a small, shallow cup with just enough water that, when placed inside, the mouthpiece will get wet up to where the ligature usually sits.
  3. Rip a good-sized paper towel into 4 equal pieces.
  4. Dip the blowing end of the mouthpiece into the water.
  5. Using a towel or washcloth, Wipe the water off the outside of the mouthpiece.
  6. Remove the paper towels and check for and remove any water that might have avoided the paper towels and soiled your cork.
  7. Let the mouthpiece dry on a table, upside down if possible, for about an hour.
  8. Use a dry cotton swab to remove any brown cork grease residue and dirt that has accumulated around the cork

How to play piano

Learning to play piano at an early age is unforgettable experience. There are many benefits for kids who start playing piano including:

  • Develop memory skills
  • More actively involved with abstract subjects at school
  • Motor skills and coordination

Besides playing piano or starting with a keyboard is the easiest instrument a child can be introduce to the world of music in a fun and entertaining way.
